IPL Hair Removal
We use Super Hair Removal (SHR) IPL Hair Removal technology to remove unwanted hair from the face and body.
When compared to traditional IPL Hair Removal treatments, SHR is faster and virtually painless thanks to the active cooling in the hand piece leaving you with soft, smooth, hair free skin!

*Please note: IPL works best on darker hair. Very blonde, grey or white hair cannot be treated. Most clients require 8-10 sessions to achieve optimum results, though hair will reduce and become finer from the very first treatment. During the initial 6 treatments, we recommend treatments every 3-4 weeks for the face and every 4-6 weeks for the body.
Hair Removal FAQ’s

Everyone is different, but most people won’t see hair grow back for at least four weeks – some up to eight weeks. Each time you wax, your hair will grow back slower and finer. The perfect hair removal treatment for smooth legs or a bikini wax before your summer holiday!

IPL is a semi-permanent hair removal treatment.
Although the initial course of treatments (most clients require 8-10 sessions) will remove your hair follicles, your body will eventually produce and develop more.
We find that clients typically require a 'top-up' treatment once every six to twelve months after the initial course of treatments to keep unwanted hair away.

Shave before your appointment:
The area being treated must be cleanly shaven. For most treatments it’s best to shave the area to be treated 18-24 hours prior to the treatment to ensure minimal discomfort.
*Please note, clients that arrive unshaven to their appointment may incur a shaving fee or we may have to re-book your appointment depending on how much time our technicians have. If you are unable to reach the treatment area to shave, please advise us prior to the appointment so we can prepare accordingly.
Remove moisturiser and/or deodorant prior to appointment:
Please remove any moisturiser or deodorant on the treatment area/s prior to your appointment. This is beneficial for optimal results and minimises the possibility of any complications.
Remove all fake tan:
Please be aware that IPL cannot be performed on any client wearing fake tan. The increased risk of burning due to the extra pigment in the fake tan, makes it unsafe to do so.
Avoid plucking or waxing 4 weeks before treatment:
All plucking, waxing, hair removal creams and electrolysis should be avoided for a minimum of 4 weeks prior to treatment. This allows time for your hair follicles to read a similar growth length or stage for optimum results and less pain.
Exfoliate:
Where possible, try to exfoliate the day of treatment. This is beneficial for optimal results. -
Salon Etiquette and Cancellation Policy
— Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to allow time to start your salon experience and to fill out any forms.
— It is appreciated if you’re unable to keep your appointment that you give us 24 hours notice or a 50% cancellation policy fee may apply.
— We have carparks in front of the salon as well as on street parking available.
