We treat three skin depths using powerful (but safe) micro-focused ultrasound waves. Each depth is crucial; at 1.5mm, HIFU will smooth wrinkles and contour skin; at 3mm, HIFU will boost collagen, improve skin texture and minimise surface imperfections; and at 4.5mm, HIFU lifts skin targeting the SMAS layer (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System).

In just 1–2 treatments you can see dramatic results. We recommend 2—3 treatments 3 months apart and then 1 treatment annually thereafter.

Some people notice an immediate result after treatment, while most begin to see improvements 8 weeks after the first treatment. These results will continue to improve for up to 12 weeks.

Ulfit uses safe ultrasound energy which alters collagen on a mass scale. It transforms damaged ‘type 3’ collagen which in turn promotes the production of ‘type 1’ collagen.

'Type 1’ collagen is a stronger and younger collagen fibre that results in firming and lifting of the skin.

We treat 3 levels of the face, the SMAS (the muscle layer which is targeted during face-lift surgery), and two layers of the skin: Deep Dermis and Superficial Dermis. This multilayer treatment ensures that all required areas are targeted to achieve great results.

You can expect immediate tightening of skin in the treated areas. This will continue to improve over time resulting in rejuvenation of the skin as the support structure is filled out. Ulfit does not affect the outer layers of the skin so there are minimal side effects or risks.

You may experience mild swelling or redness after your Ulfit procedure which will subside within 48 hours. Slight tenderness can last 1-2 weeks.

During treatment, you can expect a warm sensation under the skin and you may experience some discomfort due to how deep the ultrasound technology penetrates. As the device touches your skin, you may feel a brief moment of vibration and pin prick heating.

Clients have noted some discomfort while the energy is being delivered but it’s only temporary and a positive signal that the collagen-building process has been initiated. We rate the pain 4/10, which can be easily managed with over the counter pain relief which we recommend you taking 1–2 hours prior your treatment.

Ulfit is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to the ultrasound technology used.
